The Ford Press Conference at CES was bright and early in the morning and it was packed. The announcement that perked up my tired ears: Ford is Jumping in the Sack with Alexa! Wait, what? Yep, Ford vehicles with now have Amazon Echo in the dashboard. This is what everyone means about thinking past mobile. We want to connect to our tech, talk to it, have it be innovative and intuitive. Now, you can tell Alexa to open up the garage door, turn on the lights, and if you have a connected kitchen, to preheat the oven. Now if you can just get Alexa to cook up dinner and pour a glass of wine for you when you walk in the door, you would be all set!
