Moose Monday: I Finally Hugged a Moose

After 3 weeks without a day off, I took off for Talkeetna, Alaska this past weekend. I was asked to go and cover the Wilderness Woman and Talkeetna Bachelor Auction. So I was working, but a different kind of work. I wasn’t sitting in front of my laptop for 15 hours a day but rather had to practice talking to people again. Check back in a bit for my full write-up on the weekend. It was a great weekend, met quite a few really awesome people and came back extremely tired, but also reenergized.

I have been on the lookout for moose since the day I arrived in Alaska. This has now been the longest stretch of not seeing my tall-legged friends. Well, until Talkeetna. So I finally hugged a moose. 🙂

Of course, I searched all over the Internet to bring you my fave moose accessories. How cute would these moose ice cubes be in my adult drinky-drinks? Love! And I SO need a Got Moose? shirt. But of course, I want it to say #MooseMonday 🙂
