Samsung’s Chef’s Kitchen – Sign Me Up!

Le Sigh. One of the biggest things I miss while traveling around the world is my gourmet kitchen. If I could some how pack one up in my car, I sure would! I love love love to cook and doing so with the best technology makes this tech geek sing! I was pretty excited to check out the Samsung Chef’s Collection at BlogHer. I practically had to talk myself out of running to the store for ingredients and make something in this kitchen. But I refrained. Samsung, you’re welcome.

Chef Collection Refrigerator

This Chef’s Collection Refrigerator from Samsung is the Bomb.com. It is a whopping 34 cu. ft. which means it can hold up to 34 bags of groceries!! Holy cow! There were a few features that made my jaw drop open. One was that you if you needed more room in the fridge, that you could change one of the bottom freezer sections to act as a fridge! Seriously. There are also four different temperature zones perfect for different types of food from fish or meat, to produce, to dairy and everything else in between.

But my favorite thing, and the simplest… was that there was an area that holds two chef pans that can be pulled out of the refrigerator and put directly into the oven to cook. That same spot could easily hold a casserole dish too!

I SO want this fridge. I would have it stocked with SO many yummy healthy foods.

 

 Slide-In Electric Range with Flex Duo Oven and Pro Chef

Next, let’s take a look at this stove. It is the new Slide-In Electric Range with Flex Duo Oven and Pro Chef. The Flex Duo Oven means you can cook two dishes at two different temperatures at the same time. This bad boy also has dual convection which is 30% faster in cooking times than conventional ovens. There are 5-burners, perfect for those of us that like to cook big meals for the entire neighborhood. Oh, this stove would get a lot of use in my kitchen!

 

Dishwasher with WaterWall™ Washing System

I hate to do dishes. I mean seriously, not my favorite thing to do at all. This dishwasher though makes getting the kitchen back together after I finish with it (i.e. destroy it) might make me not hate it as much. I love that there is that tray on top for all the weird shaped things in our kitchen. The Zone Booster has makes it so the dishes actually get cleaned and not just playing in a water bath. You know what I am talking about. The sole purpose of a dishwasher is to clean the dishes, happy to see one that actually lives up to the hype.

Front-Load Laundry Pair

The last thing that I saw at the Samsung booth at BlogHer were these Front Load Washer and Dryer. My clothes are often pretty smelly, especially after running. I also love to wash my blankets every week as I love to have that fresh laundered smell. Um, I’ve never seen a washer and dryer this big – the washer is 5.6 cu. feet and the dryer has a 9.5 cu. feet capacity. That’s big! Another fave thing about these guys is that you can do a full load of laundry from start to folding in under 60 minutes! Now, that’s fast!!

I have been getting the itch to put roots down again. I hope when I do, I can outfit my house with this Samsun Chef’s Kitchen as the tech has me drooling just a little bit!
