#IntelTablet Escapes into Nature
I have had my share of tablets. I started out with a Samsung Galaxy, then had a iPad Mini. I’m still getting used to a Mac system, so I was super excited to join the #IntelTablet Blogger crew. They sent me an ACER Iconia Tab 8 to try out while I trekked all over Alaska. This little guy sure knows how to pack a lot into a little 7″ body! You know me, my tech comes everywhere with me, especially out into nature.
When I escape out into nature, I like to bring a little bit of tech with me. This Intel Tablet slips easily into my Camelbak and is ready to hike up Flat Top Mountain and has even taken a cruise out to Fox Island with me. It takes excellent shots and is perfect to capture quick videos when I am on the go, especially when I don’t want to lug around my Canon T3i.
For me though, it is all about my fave apps and how they work on a device. For traveling, my must haves are GasBuddy, Spotify, TripAdvisor, and Weatherbug. I love to read while sitting by a stream so I have my Amazon Kindle library downloaded too. My fave app though while I am traveling is Pinterest. I love looking up destinations and seeing what I can do in different locations. It’s addicting though!
I’m headed out tomorrow to try and see how it does on capturing wildlife as I have yet to try that. I will report back with photos from Alaska so you can see how it does. What should I try to photograph? Belugas or a Moose or a beautiful Fall landscape? If you guessed I am going to try for all 3 you’d be right. Let’s see what this Intel Tablet can do, shall we?
